Landscape Mode

Side note: This blog post might be considered pose poetry…

I have decided to put my phone down. I am tired of viewing this life in portrait mode. Having the edges of my sight cut off with the black protective case of my phone.

I want to live in landscape mode. To have the horizon run past my peripheral vision. The sky to fade from view above me and to trust my feet to walk to the spot I see ahead of me.

The world is 360 degrees and so is my heart. Living in landscape mode allows my arms to open as wide as my faith. To feel lost in the possibilities stretched out around me. I may not be able to walk everywhere but I am free to try when I see the world in landscape mode.

So I’ve put down my phone and will leave the portrait mode for the painters.
